Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman, who appeared in more games at Michigan than any player in school history, has been sidelined by a foot injury while preparing for a professional career.
His agent, Andy Bountogianis of Klutch Sports Group, told MLive on Wednesday that Abdur-Rahkman broke a bone on the bottom of his foot while working out on his own. He had surgery three or four weeks ago and is not expected to return to basketball activities for another three or four months.
Bountogianis said Abdur-Rahkman had participated in one workout for an NBA team before landing on his foot wrong, ending the possibility of other workouts in advance of the June 21 NBA draft.
