Michigan has provided a stream of prospects to the NBA in recent years.
From Trey Burke in 2013 to Caris LeVert in 2016, the program has produced intriguing talent for scouts to evaluate.
It’s also created a network current NBA hopefuls can lean on for advice.
Michigan swingman Zak Irvin, who worked out for the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, said it’s a huge help.
“It’s nice to have guys that have gone through this process before – kind of like mentors through this whole process,” Irvin said at the Pistons' practice facility in Auburn Hills.
