It didn’t take long for Nate Johnson to go from suspended indefinitely to completely off the team. The sophomore defensive back was arrested on Saturday morning for an alleged attack on a female student, for which he was later charged with misdemeanor domestic violence.
In the aftermath of the arrest, he was promptly suspended by the program, and he has now been completely removed from the team.
A native of Thompson's Station, Tenn., Johnson began his Michigan career as a wide receiver, seeing limited action last year, before switching to cornerback during fall camp in August. He did not play in any of the Wolverines first four games this season.
