Shane Morris came out of spring practice as Michigan’s No. 1 quarterback, but reaching that level in April and doing it in the fall are two different matters. The true junior signal caller has started two games in his career, but has yet to throw a touchdown pass, leaving a lot still to be accomplished. Still, with just a month and a half remaining until the start of fall camp, he’s optimistic about where he stands.
“I think I can win the starting job because I have the mentality to do so,” Morris explained at the Ann Arbor Aerial Assault camp on Saturday.
