ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Fifth-year senior linebacker Desmond Morgan of the 16th-ranked University of Michigan football team was voted to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 5 team, announced on Thursday (Nov. 5).
A three-year letter winner, Morgan has appeared in 42 career games, with 36 starts. He has accumulated a team-leading 278 tackles, 15.5 tackles-for-loss, nine pass breakups, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Morgan appeared in one game in 2014, registering six tackles against Appalachian State before missing the rest of the season due to injury.
