ARLINGTON, Texas — The first interception wasn’t all his fault. Wilton Speight was trying to connect with Kekoa Crawford on a crossing route, and the U-M quarterback left the pass a little high and behind.
Crawford could’ve caught it. Maybe a month from now he will.
But the second interception was all him. Aiming for Grant Perry out in the left flat, he tossed a perfect spiral … to Fort Worth.
“I kind of kicked myself for the second one,” Speight said. “Just sailed it over Grant’s head.”
After that pick, late in the second quarter, Jim Harbaugh had a decision to make.
