Michigan's OL is about to be tested again: How will it fare this time?

ANN ARBOR -- While everyone remains fixated on the Michigan offense and what it might (or might not) do in the Big Ten opener, there's one area that remains unproven.

Through three games, the Wolverines' offensive line has allowed six sacks and 16 tackles for loss. Neither stat is particularly impressive when you put in context -- Michigan ranks in the bottom half of both of the Football Bowl Subdivision in both categories -- but the team has made do. Partly, of course, because of the competition.

No. 19 Michigan was able to establish the run game early against an undersized Western Michigan defensive front, and eventually got things moving last week in a 45-20 win over Southern Methodist.
