Nico Collins has a new home.
The former Michigan football receiver was selected by the Houston Texans in the third round (No. 89 overall) of the NFL draft on Friday.
Collins became the third Wolverine to be drafted this year, joining Kwity Paye and Jalen Mayfield.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound pass-catcher did not play in 2020 after opting out following the Big Ten's decision to postpone fall sports.
But Collins flashed plenty of potential in 2018 and 2019, using a combination of size and speed to provide big plays for Michigan's passing game.
