Jim Harbaugh is unsure how well Michigan's incoming recruits are faring during strength and conditioning training this summer.
The third-year coach isn't allowed to lead practices, so only hearing about their training secondhand from his assistants.
One person with a firsthand look at the freshmen is fifth-year senior Maurice Hurst, who shed light on his new teammates after a friendly "practice" with Italian soccer team AS Roma earlier this week.
"I think they're really talented," the defensive tackle said. "It's really exciting to see a lot of the younger guys come in and be so advanced and so ready to play early on.
