In the end, experience won out, as fourth-year junior Jon Runyan Jr. won the left tackle spot opposite fifth-year senior Juwann Bushell-Beatty. Those two beat out a pair of talented youngsters with futures Michigan's excited about:

Left tackle Jalen Mayfield, a true freshman from Grand Rapids, and redshirt freshman right tackle James Hudson, a converted defensive lineman.
