Michigan's Darboh flies in 40-yard dash, boosts stock

INDIANAPOLIS -- Amara Darboh was always Michigan's Mr. Steady.

Now he's Mr. Explosive.

As a freshman he didn't catch a pass, but was a willing blocker.

Once he got on the field, as a redshirt sophomore, his numbers ascended year by year, defined by his consistency.

But with his pro potential his ceiling was viewed as limited by his speed, which he rarely showed at Michigan.

The 6-foot-2, 214-pound Darboh buried that today, running an official 4.45 second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine, tied for sixth among receivers, proving that he has the all-around game, including speed, that teams covet.
