Michigan football defensive assistant Anthony Campanile has agreed to a two-year deal worth $415,000 annually and some interesting Big Ten East stipulations.
Campanile, who spent last season as Boston College's co-defensive coordinator, signed a memorandum of understanding with Michigan last Friday, according to a Freedom of Information Act request.
His deal, scheduled to run through Jan. 10, 2021, lists him as an assistant football coach. Campanile will likely coach either linebackers or safeties for U-M next season.
