Ambry Thomas got his wish.
The sophomore cornerback thought he could help the Michigan football offense last year. He thought he could do the same this year, too.
This past Saturday, he finally got his chance to do so in the Wolverines’ 49-3 win over Western Michigan, taking a fly sweep for a 5-yard gain in the first quarter.
In the season opener at Notre Dame, Thomas returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.
