Michigan wraps up nonconference play with sloppy win over Bowling Green

Ann Arbor — Michigan Stadium, all dressed up for its first night game of the season, got to show off its new LED light system. That was pretty much the highlight of the first half for the Wolverines.

The No. 2 Wolverines overcame three first-half turnovers and an off game from quarterback J.J. McCarthy to defeat Bowling Green, 31-6, Saturday night in their final nonconference game of the season.

Offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Sherrone Moore was the interim head coach for this game, as head coach Jim Harbaugh was not on the sideline for the last time as part of a three-game self-imposed suspension relating to an NCAA investigation.
