The National Champion Michigan Wolverines have lost another key offensive player for next season, as wide receiver Roman Wilson has announced he’ll be headed to the NFL Draft.
This isn’t a huge surprise, as the senior wideout accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl, announced one day after Michigan’s National Championship win over the Washington Huskies.
Wilson was quarterback J.J. McCarthy’s primary target in 2023, leading the team with 48 receptions, 789 yards and 12 touchdowns. He finished his final year at Michigan being named the Wolverines’ Offensive Player of the Week six times.
