LANSING -- Michigan wide receiver Grant Perry left a Lansing courtroom Friday with a sentence of 12 months probation and 60 hours of community service due to an incident that occurred outside an East Lansing bar last fall.
Perry, who stood before Judge Joyce Draganchuk in Ingham County Circuit Court, pled guilty to one felony count of resisting a police officer and one misdemeanor count of assault and battery earlier this summer.
In accordance with a plea deal, Perry had two charges of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct removed from his record. Draganchuk agreed to sentence Perry under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act, meaning his convictions will be set aside until the completion of his probation.
