Even though the passing attack never found a rhythm in the Michigan Wolverines’ win over the USC Trojans last Saturday at the Big House, the wide receiver group still made a significant impact by providing key blocks to help spring a dominant 290-yard rushing performance. Each receiver embraced their role and demonstrated a team-first mentality that has been a hallmark of the program over the last few years.
The receivers excelled in executing high-quality blocks that contributed to propelling the running game, which was the biggest catalyst in the last-second win in the Big Ten opener.
