For her eighth time since joining the program and her seventh season in a row — excluding the canceled 2020 tournament — Kim Barnes Arico has led the Michigan women’s basketball team to the NCAA Tournament.

After finishing the season tied for fifth in the Big Ten (22-10, 11-7), the Wolverines have earned a 6-seed in one of the Birmingham regions, the region where Texas is the 1-seed.
