Kim Barnes Arico has had some historic moments in charge of Michigan's women's basketball program lately.
The team hung its first banner after winning the WNIT last spring. She became the program's all-time wins leader earlier this year. Win No. 400 as a head coach came last week.
But now, her Michigan squad will have to handle a bout of adversity.
The 13th-ranked Wolverines blew a 14-point fourth-quarter lead and saw their six-game winning streak go right along with it Thursday night during an 81-79 overtime loss to unranked Purdue at the Crisler Center.
