For the eighth time under Kim Barnes Arico, the Michigan women’s basketball team will be playing in the NCAA tournament.

The Selection Committee gave Michigan a No. 6 seed in Texas’ region; the Wolverines will travel to Notre Dame for it’s regional games, and will face either No. 11 Iowa State or No. 11 Princeton, depending on how their play-in game plays out.

A 6 seed is the second-highest seed the program has ever been given in the NCAA tournament.
