Michigan improved to 3-0, but it was harder than it needed to be against Southern Miss.
The Wolverines used a 23-3 run in the second half to beat the Golden Eagles, 61-47, on Thursday night at Crisler Arena.
Muhammad Abdur-Rahkman led the Wolverines with 14 points on 6-of-14 shooting. Moe Wagner chipped in 12 points and six rebounds and Duncan Robinson added 12 points on 4-of-8 3-point shooting.
The Wolverines built a 20-6 lead with 10:02 left in the first half after a lay-up by Jon Teske.
