EVANSTON, Ill. -- It looks as if Michigan will play without its No. 2 running back again.
Junior Chris Evans has not been spotted on the field at Ryan Field, nor is he participating in pre-game warmups ahead of the Wolverines' game Saturday at Northwestern (4:30 p.m. ET, FOX).
Michigan (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) played without Evans last week against Nebraska, a dominating 56-10 win over the Cornhuskers that saw it rush 45 times for 285 yards.
Expect senior Karan Higdon to take a majority of the carries again -- he is dressed and available to play -- with help from junior Tru Wilson and sophomore O'Maury Samuels.
