At least now the Michigan basketball team knows its plans for one tournament.
With Michigan State's win over Ohio State today, the Wolverines are locked into the No. 8 seed in next week's Big Ten tournament in Indianapolis.
Had OSU won, there was potential for some scenarios for U-M to get the No. 7, but that's no longer on the table, regardless of the Wolverines' result in tonight's regular season finale against Iowa (BTN, 8 p.m.)
Michigan is 10-7 in the conference entering the tonight, one game behind Iowa and Purdue, who are 11-6.
