They talked about it at night sometimes, or after games. A couple of kids from metro Detroit living out their dream playing college football, hoping to make it to the NFL one day.
“We were like, ‘Man, we can make something of this, we can do this at the next level,’ ” former Michigan State football receiver Cody White recalled. “Just watching our game tapes and stuff like that, just seeing what we can be in the future, we just knew that this was going to be the next step for us.”
White was reminiscing about one such conversation he had with Trishton Jackson, when the two were teammates at Michigan State in 2017, before Jackson transferred to Syracuse.
