Michigan has won just one Big Ten Tournament title.
It came in the inaugural 1998 tournament and the Wolverines later had to vacate that championship due to NCAA sanctions.
Michigan has a shot at another title when it faces Wisconsin today in the Big Ten Tournament finale. The Wolverines beat Minnesota 84-77 in Saturday's first semifinal while Wisconsin routed Northwestern 76-48.
The only other year Michigan played in the Big Ten Tournament title game was 2014 when it lost 69-55 to Michigan State.
