It took an extra day to get to the Big Ten Tournament, but now that Michigan is in Washington D.C. it's sticking around for at least one more game.
And the Wolverines will get a shot at knocking off the conference's regular season champion.
No. 8 seed Michigan, which defeated Illinois 75-55 on Thursday, will face No. 1 seed Purdue (No. 13 in AP rankings) in a quarterfinal at noon today. The Wolverines won the lone regular season matchup with an 82-70 victory over the Boilermakers on Feb. 25 in Ann Arbor.
