Two struggling blue bloods face off this afternoon, as the Michigan Wolverines play host to the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Michigan is coming off a highly emotional three-overtime victory on the road against Rutgers last weekend. Throwing Cade McNamara in at quarterback seemed to do the trick, as the Wolverines were getting shutout before making the switch. He accounted for five total touchdowns and 260 yards through the air. It was an effective outing for the redshirt freshman, and he will look to keep the momentum going.
Meanwhile, James Franklin has yet to find a victory this season.
