Though the football season is just entering the final stretch, it is already time for college hoops to start back up.
Michigan begins the season ranked 19th after a surprise NCAA Championship run last season. The losses of Mo Wagner, Duncan Robinson, and Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman will be felt, but their absence leaves an opportunity for some younger players to take a step forward.
Michigan will again start its season with an exhibition matchup, facing Northwood University, which is apparently a Division II school up in Midland. The Timberwolves finished 11-17 last season and placed 10th in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
