Tuesday in State College was NOT fun. Nonetheless, the Michigan Wolverines look to get things back on track this afternoon at Crisler against the Maryland Terrapins.
While John Beilein was getting T’d up on Tuesday, the Terrapins upset No. 12 Purdue 70-56 at the Xfinity Center in Maryland. That was Purdue’s first loss in more than a month, while Maryland is 3-3 in its last six games.
The Terrapins are led by junior guard Anthony Cowan Jr. (16.0 points per game), who is capable of both making a 3-pointer (33 percent) and forcing turnovers (25 steals) at a consistent rate.
