Michigan visits Northwestern, the last team to beat U-M in regular season

Michigan has not lost a regular season game and has lost just one game overall -- the 2018 national championship -- since falling to Northwestern on Feb. 6. Michigan head coach John Beilein can't pinpoint what might have changed after that game -- the loss to Nebraska a few weeks earlier was more impactful -- but the fact remains that U-M is 22-1 since that defeat.

As well as the No. 5 Wolverines are playing, recent history suggests Tuesday's trip to Northwestern (6-2) won't be easy.

Michigan has lost its last three games at Northwestern. "And every one has been heartbreaking," Beilein said.
