Khaleke Hudson was ejected for targeting after a helmet-to-helmet hit on a running quarterback with 5:42 left in the third quarter of Saturday's game against SMU. Hudson, Michigan's starting "viper," a linebacker-safety hybrid position, will miss the first half of next Saturday's game against Nebraska as well as part of the penalty.
Michigan led 28-7 at the time of the penalty.
Hudson recorded six tackles and a blocked punt last Saturday against Western Michigan.
