BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Michigan run game got back on track Saturday, one week after the coaching staff took a public thrashing for not going to it enough.
Junior running back Karan Higdon rushed for a career-high 200 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Wolverines to victory in a 27-20 overtime win over Indiana at Memorial Stadium.
And turns out, running the football was the plan all along.
"They were a physical front, we knew that," senior center Patrick Kugler said. "We pride ourselves on being a physical front as well. We knew we wanted to come out and run the ball.
