Michigan Football will be taking the field for the first time this season in 25 days. The expectation for this time is as high as it's been for any Michigan team in probably 30 years. The first indication of that is the Coaches Poll which was released yesterday. Michigan is ranked #2 behind the 2-time defending National Champion Georgia Bulldogs.
That is a great honor but most football critics don't consider the Coaches Poll that accurate as Coaches work non-stop but only study the team they have and their next opponent. We assume they don't have time on a Saturday to tune in to watch 2 or 3 other games.
