Cade suffered what looked to be a lower leg, non-contact injury on Saturday night as he was scrambling out of the end zone. If you remember Cade had an injury at Michigan last year and went to a surgeon in LA to fix it. During Iowa's fall camp he was running during a scrimmage and looked to have hurt himself again.
I have mentioned it here a number of times, but I felt Cade has not been close to healthy and probably hasn't been since late in the 2021 season. He looked limited against Georgia in the CFP and was not sharp at all to start the 2022 season.
