Sometimes the recruiting folks don’t get it right, and that is what has seemingly happened with Manhattan transfer Seydou Traore. Traore was an unranked recruit out of the Bronx who committed to his home state team.
In his first game, Traore posted a double-double against Bryant, and then put up 16 points, eight rebounds and three steals against Kansas. Later in the year, he’d post a 13-point, eight-rebound performance against UConn.
Traore has since entered the portal after a successful freshman year, and Dusty May and the Michigan Wolverines are among the teams in contact.
