WASHINGTON D.C. -- Game on.
Following a harrowing Wednesday, Michigan has set its travel schedule for Thursday and will play Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals at noon.
The Wolverines were originally supposed to travel to Washington on Wednesday, but their plane aborted its takeoff at Willow Run Airport due to heavy winds. The plane went through the end of the runway, sustaining significant damage.
No injuries were reported.
Michigan was unable to immediately arrange for travel later Wednesday. Arrangements soon focused on getting the team into D.C. on Thursday morning.
