Michigan to hire Ben Herbert as strength and conditioning coach

It didn’t take long for Jim Harbaugh to find his replacement for former strength and conditioning coach Kevin Tolbert.

As first reported by FootballScoop.com, and later confirmed by The Michigan Insider, Harbaugh will hire Ben Herbert as Michigan’s new strength and conditioning coach.

Herbert is the former strength and conditioning coach at Wisconsin and Arkansas, where he served under Bret Bielema at both schools. He was named the 2015 Master Strength and Conditioning Coach by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association during his first season with the Razorbacks.
