I joked when Purdue wing Nojel Eastern entered the transfer portal that he should finish his career at Eastern Michigan. He did pick another Washtenaw County school in U of M but was never announced as official. Then a pandemic hit which put everything on hold.
Fast forward to yesterday and Eastern announces he no longer will be transferring to Michigan because he didn't get admitted. He didn't go into detail, but per Nojel there were some issues with his major and credits.
This is surprising and it really isn't all at the same time. You would think a high educational institution like Purdue would have transferrable credits to Michigan.
