Michigan stays at No. 24 in AP Poll entering pivotal top-25 matchup at Illinois

The updated AP Poll was released on Sunday afternoon, and the Michigan Wolverines stuck at No. 24 after an idle week.

Their next opponent, the Illinois Fighting Illini, are now at No. 22 after a nail-biting 50-49 overtime victory over Purdue on Saturday.

Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Oregon jumped to No. 2 following its upset win over Ohio State at Autzen Stadium. The Buckeyes fell to No. 4 after the loss. Penn State subsequently jumped the Buckeyes to the No. 3 spot after an overtime win at USC. No. 16 Indiana is the only other ranked team in the conference, while Nebraska, Iowa and USC all also received votes.
