EAST LANSING - The state of Michigan now has two basketball teams ranked in the top 20 of the Associated Press poll, after both Michigan State and Michigan made moves up this week.
Michigan State checked in at No. 4 in this week's poll while Michigan checked in at No. 20.
The Spartans moved up one spot after beating Penn State and Indiana last week. It moved ahead of previous No. 4 Duke, which suffered a stunning loss at St. John's on Saturday.
Michigan, meanwhile, moved up four spots to its highest ranking of the year after beating Northwestern and Minnesota at home in the last week.
