EAST LANSING - Now midway through the season, Michigan State's offense hasn't lived up to expectations.
And the second half of the schedule begins with the toughest challenge to date.
The No. 24 Spartans (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) host No. 6 Michigan (6-1, 4-0) on Saturday (noon, FOX) and the Wolverines will bus one of the nation's best defenses to East Lansing.
"I'm very impressed with their defense, very impressed with their front four, front seven," said Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio, who acknowledged it will probably be the best defensive line the Spartans have faced this season.
