EAST LANSING -- The seniors on Michigan State's defense are entering their fourth matchup against Michigan, and they'll be preparing for their fourth different quarterback.
In 2015, they saw Jake Rudock, who completed 60 percent of his passes for 168 yards in a loss.
In 2016, Wilton Speight beat the Spartans in Spartan Stadium by throwing for 244 yards.
And last year, John O'Korn completed 45 percent of his passes and threw three picks in a rainy comeback effort in Ann Arbor.
Now, the Spartans are preparing for yet another new Wolverines quarterback and a challenge they say will be their toughest yet: Shea Patterson.
