ANN ARBOR -- Quinn Nordin wanted to be accurate in spring.
For his sake -- and for the benefit of the Michigan football team. As a redshirt freshman kicker in 2017, Nordin successfully made 19 of his 24 field-goal attempts.
But when things went wrong, they went off the tracks. Nordin missed three straight field goals during a three-game, second-half stretch, one that also included a missed point-after attempt.
"You're not always going to be perfect throughout your whole career," Michigan special teams coordinator Chris Partridge told reporters on Monday. "When you miss and when you have a fault, or something happens, how do you fix it?
