Once again, Michigan softball has the winningest coach in college history.
With the Wolverines’ 3-0 win over Northern Kentucky on Friday in Durham, North Carolina, U-M coach Carol Hutchins picked up her 1,675th win, passing longtime Arizona coach Mike Candrea, who retired after last season. Hutchins originally claimed the record in 2016, passing Fresno State's Margie Wright with her 1,458th win, but Candrea then passed her.
And then, of course, after setting the record against the Norse, Hutchins and the Wolverines set it again on Friday night, taking down Duke, 3-2, for win No.
