The Michigan softball team wrapped up its second straight Big Ten regular-season softball championship Sunday, topping Maryland 12-3 in College Park to complete a series sweep and make it 11 titles in 12 years.
Carol Hutchins' softball team has now won 21 of the last 28 Big Ten regular-season titles. The No. 22 ranked Wolverines finished the year 22-1 in Big Ten play and are currently 40-11 overall.
Michigan will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Big Ten tournament and will play either Nebraska or Illinois on Friday in Bloomington, Ind.
