Top-seeded Michigan softball continued its home tear in the NCAA Regional held in Ann Arbor.
An exhilarating walk-off single from junior third baseman Madison Uden gave the Wolverines a 1-0 win in 12 innings over the James Madison Dukes on Saturday, as Michigan played off of its home-field advantage, where it remains undefeated.
Michigan has played three extra-inning games throughout the season, including a nine-inning 3-0 loss to the Dukes on March 7.
The win means Michigan will play the winner of the elimination bracket in the Regional finals Sunday for a spot in the NCAA Super Regional, a round it hasn’t made since 2016.
