The unthinkable happened on Saturday when the Michigan Wolverines toppled the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus. ESPN’s matchup predictor gave the Buckeyes a 91.2 percent chance of winning the game, and Michigan was almost a three-touchdown underdog with a +1,000 marker on the money line to win outright.
By far, this was the biggest upset of Big Ten play this season, and it may go down as the largest upset in the history of The Game.
Subsequently, the Wolverines moved up four spots to No. 30 overall in ESPN’s FPI rankings. In the last two weeks, Michigan has moved up 13 spots to solidify a top-30 finish to end the regular season.
