EAST LANSING – The road remains a riddle for Michigan.
High-level opponents or even average teams are too much to handle, shown again today as U-M fell to Michigan State, 70-62, at the Breslin Center.
Though the Wolverines (14-8, 4-5 Big Ten) made a late push, getting within four with 21 seconds left, it wasn’t enough as the Wolverines dropped to 0-6 on the road.
There was no mystery about the reason for the loss, though.
Michigan shot just 33.9% from the field, its second-lowest total of the season, with the only exception being the historic 19% implosion at South Carolina.
