A university spokesperson Wednesday said Michigan right tackle Juwann Bushell-Beatty did not travel with the team to Atlanta for this week’s Peach Bowl. He has opted to skip the game and prepare for the NFL.
And according to Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press, true freshman Jalen Mayfield and redshirt freshman Andrew Stueber are getting the work at the vacant spot.
No RT Juwann Bushell-Beatty this week. He elected not to play in the Peach Bowl, per UM spokesman.
