Michigan basketball coach John Beilein has heard the backlash - and has reacted accordingly.
He will remove his transfer restrictions from his departing players.
Graduating Spike Albrecht and junior-to-be Ricky Doyle announced they were leaving Michigan earlier this week, and both families confirmed they were limited in where they could transfer.
In addition to being blocked from transferring to Big Ten schools, Albrecht and Doyle were told by Beilein they couldn't transfer to a school on U-M's schedule the next two years.
Neither family nor player felt this was a major obstacle and were willing to go along with what Beilein said.
